A smooth move is only possible with a clear plan, so while you still have plenty of time, work out the details of the day of the move and choose a good day to move in. Take an inventory of your belongings. Organize a moving folder for all the paperwork. Find companies licensed to provide moving services and convenient storage facilities to homes and businesses moving from one country to another, from one state to another.
Disconnect all utilities before leaving the house so that no gas or electricity are consumed while the house is unoccupied. If I have time beforehand, I stop by the new house and tape the colored paper over the door of each room so that the moving aides know exactly where the “girls' room” is. If former residents have already moved out, it's a good idea to clean your new home to make it pleasant for you when you move in.
